Check your ears!!!
First off, thanks to everyone who watched/enjoyed the Wii Freestyle Bowling skit. It is a success by our standards, and it seems like a lot of you enjoyed it. Not everyone liked it, but you can’t please everyone. Not even everyone likes water. Seriously, how do you not like water?
It was so well liked that we were linked by www.kotaku.com, one of the biggest gaming sites on the net. We got a few thousand views from them…. but you’d think it was the worst video ever from their comments. The comments ratio was 5 bad comments to one good one. “Crap”, “crap”, “horrible”, “I want my time back”, “Hilarious!” I bet those jerks don’t even like water either.
The gears are in motion for episode 9! Which will be the best thing we ever put out. I know this because I won’t put it out until its the best thing we ever put out. I don’t care if we have to make 3 different versions because i’m not happy with it - it will not hit your face until its damn near perfect. Please note that our version of perfect has many continuity issues and audio problems.
I’m also trying to work on a blog about our filming experiences for the Wii Bowling. There’s many behind the scenes things that might interest you. For instance, did you know i was not wearing underwear for some of the sound effects? Sometimes i need an unfurnished basement to get the good sounds out. Also, the throwback wednesday articles will be back as soon as Juan pays his Juanpointone.com bill. We haven’t forgot about that.
Finally, check your ears everyone. And if you hear a crackling sound like rice krispies, you can officially panic. Cause you might be like this boy and have spiders living in your ear! Maybe they’re radioactive spiders and he’s getting super ear powers… and he’d be able to hear really quiet things like a piece of cotton touching felt, or hot girls farting.
